I started this simple site with aspirations to get some of the thoughts out of my head and out somewhere where I could mull them, share some of them, and through some combination of the above, understand the world a little better.

One thing I’ve learned over that time is that change is going to happen, so it’s best to give it some direction. (Or it will take it’s own direction, like it or not.)

And now to the third person:
Jason Y. Wood is a writer of novels and short stories, an essayist, an observer and critic, and a sometime poet and occasional photographer. He’s a reader and a thinker. He’s a family man, a student of the dog, a sportsman, an epicurean, a lover of music and the arts, a homeowner, and a car guy.
